Equip your Wrangler with one of three engines. The base model has a V6 that gets 285 horsepower. An available turbo-four provides 270 hp and the top-tier V8 pushes the Jeep’s limits to 470 horses. Each powertrain comes with four-wheel drive and a standard six-speed manual or optional eight-speed automatic transmission. Depending on the trim, the Wrangler can achieve a best-in-class towing capacity of up to 6,000 pounds.
Off-Roading Equipment
The base model features skid plates, tow hooks, a two-speed transfer case, and front fog lights. You’ll be trail-ready with the Wrangler’s class-leading breakover and approach angles.
Optional upgrades include a Corning Gorilla Glass windshield, a locking rear differential, built-in auxiliary switches for accessories, a vented hood, designated off-roading modes, and a trail camera. Higher trims also add equipment like a Warn winch with a steel bumper, cold air intake, a factory lift, and 33-inch or 35-inch off-road tires.
Comfort and Convenience Features
Each Wrangler has a premium cabin with ambient interior LEDs and push-button start, as well as the characteristic removable doors and soft top. A removable hard top is also available. Comfort upgrades include heated, power-adjustable front seats, leather upholstery with contrast stitching, and genuine Nappa leather upholstery. You can also add remote start, automatic cruise control, proximity keyless entry, and a universal garage door opener.
Infotainment and Driver Assistance Tech
Standard tech includes dual screens with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone connectivity, an eight-speaker stereo with satellite radio, Wi-FI, and Bluetooth. The Wrangler offers an optional 7-inch driver information display, an Alpine premium audio system, GPS-based navigation with thousands of trail maps, and HD radio.
The base model of the Wrangler comes with a rearview camera.
